ADMISSIONS
There are
open admissions for the Kindergarten and Class XI only. In
other classes admissions will depend on vacancies that
occur.
Kindergarten
5+ - a notice is posted on the school notice board in
September giving details regarding age, certificates, etc.
and the dates on which application forms will be sold
(Rs.10/- each). Forms are usually sold on a Thursday and
Saturday in early October, and are to be returned in the
second half of the month. Interviews are held usually in
early January for all who have qualified. There are no
admission tests, but parents and children are interviewed.
For
Class XI - Notice of streams and subjects for study
are put up in January. Application forms Rs.20 each are
sold to students of Loreto schools only in February and to
candidates from other schools in early May. Attested
copies of school reports for Class VIII – X must be
submitted.
Students are selected on the basis of an interview
(with parents), their Class VIII – X reports, their
Board exam results and if necessary, a test.
For
Other
Classes – applications are short listed and then
an interview and short test for Class V up are conducted.
