ACADEMICS & ACTIVITIES

In the Primary School the Loreto syllabus is followed and activity methods are used. English and Maths are the core subjects, other subjects being included in the EVS approach. Music, drama, art and craft work games and P.E. are a regular part of the programme.   

In the Secondary school we follow the syllabus of the West Bengal Secondary Board.

The Higher Secondary section offers Humanities, Science and Commerce according to the syllabus of the West Bengal Education Council. 

Singing and dancing, P.e. games, SUPW are part of the regular curriculum.

 Co-curricular and Extra-curricular Activities

The girls have a coach for basketball and take part in inter-school matches. They can join the Bulbuls or Girl Guide groups after class. Two other active groups are the LTS and CLC which provide training in leadership and group activities.

Various club activities take place every week: JPIc, Nature, Elocution, Dance, Debate, Dramatics, Science, Art and Craft, Music and the students take part in quizzes and competitions. The school has regularly produced a number of excellent plays and dance dramas.
