Our College

Loreto College was established in 1912 and was affiliated to the Calcutta University for the Intermediate Science Course and B.A. Course in 1913, and the Bachelor of Teaching (B.T.) Course in 1941. 

In 1999 – 2000, the college volunteered for assessment by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council and was graded with five stars. 

In 2003 the B.Ed Department was assessed independently by NAAC and was awarded a grade of B++.
