Our Department

This is a two-year undergraduate course conducted by the Teachers’ Training Department of Loreto House. It is affiliated to the Directorate of School Education, (Anglo Indian Schools), West Bengal, and qualifies teachers for English Medium Primary Schools. It was given recognition by the National Council of Teacher Education in 2003. 

It has 80 students on its rolls and a teaching staff of 9.

The working hours are 8.30 am – 3 pm, five days a week.
